A password-protected gallery is a simple and secure way to privately share images with clients. Only people with the correct password can access the gallery, making it perfect for sharing exclusive work, client previews, or private projects on your portfolio website.

Write your name and use the password: 1234.
What makes password-protected pages different?
Password-protected pages work just like regular pages, you can use all the same templates, layouts, and elements, but with a few important differences:
- You can set a unique password for each password-protected page.
- You can easily share the page with clients by sending them the link and password by email.
- Password-protected pages cannot be found in Google Search results.
- They won’t appear in page lists such as Set as startpage, Link to Page, or Duplicate section to page.
- You can only duplicate sections from one password-protected page to another password-protected page.
- They are excluded from SEO settings (sitemap.txt) and do not include SEO options.
Security and login details
To make the experience smooth and secure for both you and your clients:
- Entering the wrong password will not lock out your client. They can try again until they enter the correct password.
- A small button has been added that lets viewers toggle visibility of the password they type in (only on the password-protected page, not in the admin panel). This helps reduce typing errors.
- If you change the password of a page, any viewers currently logged in will be automatically logged out and prompted to re-enter the new password.
