We’ve rolled out a batch of fixes and small improvements across Portfoliobox to make your experience smoother, faster, and more reliable.
We’ve been busy fine-tuning Portfoliobox to make building and managing your portfolio even smoother. This month’s updates are all about quality-of-life improvements, including more intuitive tools, polished design details, smoother performance, and expanded flexibility for your site.
Drag & Drop
More templates now support Drag & Drop mode, giving you even more creative freedom to move, resize, and arrange elements exactly how you want.
Design & UI improvements
- A wide range of UI fixes: style updates, corrected translations, improved consistency, missing icons added, and bug fixes across the board.
- New template sizes: You can now select Extra Small and Extra Large in global styles.
- Background indication: when applying a background colour, gradient, or overlay, the small box now stays highlighted (with a blue border), so you’ll always know it’s active.
- Every second section in a page now has a slightly darker background by default, improving readability and flow.
- Overlays for galleries, link pages, and services now appear smoothly on hover.
- Context menu fixes: switching between elements works seamlessly, and headers now display the correct translations.
- Password-protected pages got a UI & UX refresh for a cleaner experience.
- All email communications now feature a fresh design.
- Publish button bug fixed: you can now re-publish your site without any issues.
- Various soundtrack editor fixes: alignment and style issues resolved.
E-commerce
- The variation pop-up has been redesigned with softer shadows, smoother styling, and better adaptation to your site’s colours.
- The product category issue has been fixed for smoother organisation.
Invoices & quotes
- Polished invoice & quote UX: easier store info, improved sharing, and cleaner design.
- Fixed payment flow bugs, including in-person payments, incorrect status messages, and invoice logos in print.
- Improved error handling and consistent rules between quotes and invoices.
- Receipt IDs now display clearly in your quotes & invoices list. You can set this ID directly when editing the invoice or quote.
Mobile & responsive fixes
- Dynamic grid on mobile: You can now control the number of images per row by adjusting “Items per row” in mobile settings.
- Fixed template sizing, spacing, and margin issues (no more overlapping elements).
- Buttons, headings, and style inconsistencies cleaned up for a sharper mobile look.
Bookings & appointments
- Fixed the issue where the number of seats didn’t update correctly.
- Cursor and label issues in bookings corrected.
- Appointment emails with a calendar event have improved subject lines and content.
General fixes
- QR code sharing margins corrected.
- Social media links check added.
- Alerts and error notifications redesigned for clarity.
- Small but useful fixes include: the "Reuse" icon restored, a duplicate link bug fixed, outdated shadows removed, and more.
Overall, this release focuses primarily on polish and quality-of-life improvements, including smoother invoices & bookings, sharper mobile layouts, expanded drag-and-drop functionality, and small but significant fixes across the dashboard, store, and design tools.
