I've spent ages, actually, far too long, trying to make this one shot perfect. And of course, there's always some fool just walking around in the back, or a cyclist who decides my tripod is the best place to park their bike.

It's easy to get caught up in whether a setback is an actual problem or just a "me" problem. We demand perfection from ourselves as creatives, but unless we keep going with projects that aren't quite "perfect," we've got nothing to learn from. In this video, I'm sitting in a hole (metaphorically speaking) under a bridge to talk about why we need to make mistakes, get the project done, and try things that can go wrong. Because at the end of the day, our best, with our style, our story, and our creativity, is enough. Just keep going. Done is better than perfect.
