We often get stuck in the "void", staring at blank sheets of paper, or whatever it is that we tell ourselves we are not good enough at. This isn't about art, it's not about your craft, it's about a step — a step that you're not good enough at, so you skip it, avoid it. But does that hurt the end result? We look at masters like Martin Scorsese and feel our own work is an embarrassment, because of the step.

But there's a secret in Scorsese's storyboards. They aren't masterpieces; they are "stick figures" and scribbles. They aren't meant to be good — they are meant to exist so that the movie can eventually become great. The same applies to your art, your creativity.

This video is a reminder to stop being static. Get the idea out of your head and onto the page, however messy it looks.
