You can easily embed videos into your portfolio website. In this guide, we will add a video to the Gallery page, but all other pages work exactly the same way.
Before embedding, make sure your video is uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and that tthe privacy settings allow it to be publicly viewed.
Adding a video to your Gallery
- Open your Gallery page
- Hover your mouse over the gallery images and click on the Edit Images button
- Go to Change Content
- Click on Add Images or Videos button
- Select your video from the list and click on Use the Item button at the bottom to add it to the page
NB! If you haven't added your video yet, you need to click on the Import from: Vimeo | YouTube button on the left side, paste your video URL, and click Import. Once the video is visible in your library, click on it to select it, and then click on Use the Item button at the bottom to add your video to the page.
If you haven’t added your video yet
If your video hasn’t been imported to your Media Library yet:
1. Click Import from: Vimeo | YouTube on the left side of the panel.
2. Paste your video URL from Vimeo or YouTube.
3. Click Import.
4. Once the video appears in your library, select it.
5. Click Use the Item to add the video to your gallery page.
💡 Tip: Adding videos is a great way to bring your artist portfolio, photographer website, or designer portfolio to life, whether you’re showcasing behind-the-scenes clips, creative projects, or tutorials.
