Creating new pages is an essential part of building your portfolio website. Whether you’re designing an artist portfolio, photographer website, or designer portfolio, Portfoliobox makes it easy to add new content and organise your work.
Steps to create a new page
- Click on Create.
- You will be prompted to choose one of the following options:
- Blank Page: Start from scratch and build the layout yourself by adding sections manually.
- Sample Page: Choose from a selection of pre-designed pages, including Portfolio/Link Page, Text, Gallery, Project, E-commerce, and Blog. These templates include sample sections and content you can customise.
- Reuse Page: Duplicate an existing page from your site to use as a starting point.
- After selecting your option, give your page a title. The title will appear in your menu, and you can edit this title later if needed.
- Use the toggle buttons to add the page to your Main Menu.
- Click Create Page.
- The page is created! Now, you can edit the content, sections, and styles as needed.
Important note
The first page you create automatically becomes your Startpage, which serves as your portfolio’s homepage. You can change this later in the Edit section if needed.
