New image formats supported
You can now upload images in WebP, HEIC, and HEIF, in addition to existing formats like JPG, PNG, GIF, and SVG. This makes it easier to upload images directly from modern cameras and smartphones without extra conversion steps.
Automatic WebP image processing
All images uploaded to your portfolio are now automatically converted to WebP behind the scenes.
WebP is a modern image format designed for the web. It delivers:

Image limits and compatibility
Portfoliobox supports modern image formats while keeping clear limits to ensure reliable performance across all portfolios:
- Maximum image size: 24 MB
- Recommended colour space: sRGB
- Colour profiles are preserved after upload
- Image limits depend on your Portfoliobox plan and can be checked under Settings → Subscriptions
