Create your first page on your portfolio website

What is a page?

Your portfolio website is built from pages that showcase your work and information. For example, you may have a homepage to introduce yourself, a contact page for inquiries, and dedicated gallery or project pages for your creative work. If you’re a photographer, you might want a dedicated gallery for your images; if you’re an artist or illustrator, a project page works well for showcasing a series of works; and if you’re a designer, architect, or model, having a strong start page ensures your portfolio makes a great first impression.

Every page on your portfolio has a unique URL, making it easy to share and access.

Create your first page

  1. Click Create in the upper left corner of your admin panel.
  2. You will be prompted to choose one of the following options:
    • Blank Page: Start from scratch and build the layout yourself by adding sections manually.
    • Sample Page: Choose from a selection of pre-designed pages, including Portfolio/Link Page, Text, Gallery, Project, E-commerce, Blog. These templates include sample sections and content you can customise.

  3. Input a Page Title for your page. Note that the title you enter will appear in your main menu and can be edited later.

  5. The page is created! Now, you can edit the content.
