You can only edit the content of an invoice if its status is Draft. You cannot edit an invoice with the status Sent, Paid, Refunded, or Cancelled.
You can only edit an invoice when its status is Draft. Once an invoice is marked as Sent, Paid, Refunded, or Cancelled, the content becomes locked. This keeps your records consistent across your portfolio website.
Edit an invoice
To edit an invoice:
- Click Libraries & Tools.
- Choose Invoices, under Business Tools.
- Hover over the invoice with the status "Draft" you wish to edit and click Edit.
- Edit the content of the invoice.
If you accidentally changed the status of an invoice from Draft to Sent, before it was ready to be sent, you can duplicate it, and then change its status to Cancelled.
