You can duplicate any existing invoice with one click. The duplicated invoice appears at the top of your invoice list with a new Invoice ID. This saves time and reduces errors, especially when you need to invoice a different client, correct earlier information, or recreate an invoice that has already been marked as Sent. This tool is helpful for anyone managing a portfolio website.
All the original details are copied, including dates, descriptions, customer information, and payment instructions.
Duplicate an existing invoice
- Click Libraries & Tools.
- Choose Invoices under Business Tools.
- Hover over the invoice you wish to duplicate and click Duplicate.
- The new invoice will appear at the top of the list with the status: Draft.
- Click Edit next to the new invoice to access it.
Note that all information from the initial invoice will be duplicated: Invoice date, Invoice number, Your information, the Customer's information, Payment instructions, Product, Price, Due date, etc. Only the Invoice ID will differ.
