Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a free tool developed by Google that helps you manage and track multiple analytics and marketing tags on your website without requiring code edits. With GTM, you can easily add tags for conversion tracking, visitor analytics, or remarketing, helping you better understand your audience and improve the performance of your portfolio website.
1. Create a Google Tag Manager account
Start by creating a Google Tag Manager account and create a new account and container.

2. Copy the Tag ID
Copy the code that display at the top right corner of your Google Tag Manager workspace. The tag ID is a string starting with GTM.

3. Add the Google tag to your Portfoliobox account
To add the Google tag to your Portfoliobox website:
- Click on Settings in your Portfoliobox admin panel.
- Choose General Settings under Website Settings.
- Under Google Tag Manager ID, paste the tag ID.
- Click Save.
