Footer sections vs. Footer

Table of Contents

Footer

In web design, a footer is the section found at the bottom of a webpage. It typically contains information that appears across multiple pages of your portfolio.

With Portfoliobox, you can first add a footer and then include one or several sections within it. For example, you might create a footer section to display your contact information, another for social media links, and one for copyright details.

Footer Section

A Footer Section is a type of section template that can be used not only in your footer but anywhere in your portfolio. You can find it by going to: Add New Section → Structure → Footer.

This flexibility allows you to reuse footer-style sections on other parts of your portfolio, for instance, to include consistent branding or contact details across multiple pages.
