Add a link to PDF file

You can easily add a PDF file as a link anywhere on your portfolio website, whether it’s connected to text, an image, a button, or a menu link. All these options work in the same way.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to embed a PDF file into a text section. This is especially useful if you want to share a CV, project brief, press kit, or portfolio presentation directly on your website.

💡 Tip: Make sure your PDF file size is below 22 MB. If your file is larger, consider uploading it to Google Slides and embedding it instead.

Upload & add a PDF to a text section:

  1. Right-click on a text element
  2. In the Context menu, click Change Content
  3. Highlight the text that you want to link to
  4. Click on the link icon at the top
  5. Scroll down and select the option A PDF
  6. If you haven't uploaded your file yet, click on the Select a File From Your Computer button and upload your file
  7. Click on Link to This button near your uploaded file, and then hit Ok to save the changes.
