Create a drop-down menu (sublinks)

A drop-down menu allows you to add sub-menu links that appear beneath a main menu link. Submenus are an excellent way to organise your pages, create a clear navigation hierarchy, and help visitors easily explore different sections of your portfolio website.

Important notes

  • Depending on your website layout and chosen menu template, the menu can appear as a drop-down, slide-out, or overlay menu.
  • Drop-down menus are only available on the desktop version of your website. On mobile, the links will appear as a hierarchical list instead.
  • Learn how to change your menu template to adjust the menu’s appearance and behaviour.

To add a submenu link

  1. Click the pen icon next to the menu links
  2. Click Change Content.
  3. Click on your link to select it
  4. Click on the Add New Sublink button
  5. Configure your new sublink
  6. Click Done below the sub-links to save changes

Please refresh the page for the newly added link to start working.

💡 Tip: Use sublinks to group related pages, for example, create a “Portfolio” main menu link with sublinks like “Photography,” “Design,” and “Illustration.”
