Choose Standard System Fonts for your website

By default, Portfoliobox uses Google Fonts, which are stored on Google’s servers. However, if you prefer not to use Google Fonts for privacy, speed, or compliance reasons, you can switch to Standard System Font instead.

System fonts are stored locally on your device and are the default fonts used by Windows and macOS systems. Using them can improve loading times and ensure a consistent look across platforms, without relying on external servers.

Steps to change your fonts

  1. Cmd+click on a text element to open the Style Editor
  2. Click the Font field
  3. Click on Category next to a search field and select Standard
  4. Pick the font from the list that you find more suitable for your current design

💡 Tip: System fonts like Arial, Georgia, and Helvetica Neue are safe, professional choices that render consistently across most devices.
